Foresight Linux 2.1.1 ist verfügbar

Die Version 2.1.1 von Foresight Linux ist jetzt verfügbar.
Foresight Linux basiert auf rPath Linux und hat das Ziel, die jeweils aktuelle GNOME-Version zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Folgende wesentliche Neuerungen finden sich in dieser Version:
GNOME 2.26.1
Kernel 2.6.29
Notification Area
Xorg improvements

Foresight Linux 2.0.4 mit GNOME Lite

Die Version 2.0.4 von Foresight Linux ist freigegeben; sie bietet erstmals GNOME Lite als separate CD an.
Foresight Linux hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, immer die aktuellsten Versionen von GNOME und anderen Softwareprojekten anzubieten. Zugleich will sie auch eine GNOME-Desktop-Distribution sein, die “einfach funktioniert”, aber auch für fortgeschrittene Anwender flexibel genug ist.
